Le Plongeoir showcases materials with honesty. Robust, lived in finishes that set the stage for personal collections of artwork, conversation, play, and the raucous activities that take place at your neighborhood wine & pool bar. A project takes on a heightened degree of personal intervention and love when owners and operators are directly involved in design decisions and execution. 

Designing a bar counter for such a space poses its distinct challenges. Concrete counter, stained glass ply siding. Materials are transparent, serve their purpose, and will patine and age nicely. 

Compact work areas dictate exactly what they require. With a bespoke glass rack, working directly with users to understand what is needed allows the design to create itself.
